AC Watkins

Washington resident, AC Watkins, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Ayr, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Friday, February 24, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain Damen Heitmann officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, for breast cancer research. There will be no viewing or visitation.

AC was born November 11, 1934 in Simpson, Kentucky to Edgar & Eliza (Banks) Watkins. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. AC married Sharon Kelley in 1975; she preceded him in death. He was employed as a lineman by Puget Power for the State of Washington. AC enjoyed traveling with his 5th wheel motor home and was a commercial fisherman.

AC was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon Watkins; and brothers, Virgil Watkins, Burt Watkins, and Patrick Watkins.
