Ada Hill

Former Hastings resident, Ada G. Hill, 102, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Private burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery, North Platte. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2011; 3:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.

Ada was born September 25, 1908 in Comstock, Nebraska to Mertin S. & Ellen (Reider) Amos. On October 14, 1950 she married Roland Hill in Hastings, Nebraska; he preceded her in death in 1971. Ada lived in North Platte, Nebraska from 1950 until 1997; then moved to Hastings. She was a homemaker, worked as a beautician at Bonnie's Beauty Shop and worked at Rigg's Optical. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Platte.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Hill; three sisters; and two brothers.
