Adolphine Zarek

Hastings resident, Adolphine Claire Zarek, 78, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mary Lanning HealthCare in Hastings.

Rosary will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014; 6:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 24, 2014; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project or Nebraska Right to Life. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23, 2013; 3:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.

Ada was born June 20, 1936 to Louis & Helen (Ruprecht) Euteneuer in Columbus, Nebraska. She graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1953. She married Leonard J. Zarek on May 25, 1957. He passed away February 8, 1995. Ada worked for thirty-five years as a press operator at Dutton Lainson. She was active in gardening and with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, the American Legion Auxillary, Nebraska Right to Life and numerous other organizations.

Adolphine Claire Zarek was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers: Carol Euteneuer, John Euteneuer, Louis Euteneuer, Jr.; sisters: Zita Holzbach, Imelda Miller.
