Agnes Kolbet

Hastings resident, Agnes Ann Kolbet, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at her home.

Rosary will be Friday, November 5, 2010; 9:45 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 5, 2010; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the family's choice.

Agnes was born June 23, 1929 in Roseland, Nebraska to George W. & Eva L. (Hemberger) Loskill. On August 30, 1952 she married Jerome W. Kolbet. She worked at Mode-O-Day and did home daycare for 20 years. She enjoyed her fall seasons and working at Pioneer Seed Company for 20 years. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, St. Cecilia's Altar Society, and American Legion Auxiliary.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters, Bernadette Dempewolf, Catherine Parr, Alice Trausch, and Mary Kimminau; and 2 brothers, Richard Loskill and Robert Loskill.
