Former Roseland resident, Aileen M. Bonifas, 87, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Rosary will be Friday, November 19; 7:30 P.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 20; 10:30 A.M. both at Assumption Catholic Church, rural Roseland, with Father Thomas S. Brouillette officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 19; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Assumption Catholic Church or Alzheimer's Association.
Aileen was born October 3, 1923 near Heartwell, Nebraska to Harry & Helena (Miller) Klein. She graduated from Roseland High School. On October 6, 1942 she married Peter S. Bonifas at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland. Peter preceded her in death on August 28, 2003. Aileen was a wonderful mother and grandmother and a member of the Assumption Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Aileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter S. Bonifas; son, John James Bonifas; and two brothers, Everett Klein & Billy Klein.
