Former Roseland resident, Alfred J. Parr, 95, of Grandview Manor, Campbell, Nebraska, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at Grandview Manor.

Rosary will be Monday, July 16, 2007; 7:30 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 17, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, 2007; 5 P.M.-9 P.M., Sunday, July 15, 2007; 1 P.M.- 9 P. M., Monday, July 16, 2007; 9 A.M.- 4 P.M. at the funeral home & Tuesday, July 17, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mr. Parr was born January 31, 1912 in Adams County to Aleck & Susan (Heuertz) Parr. He graduated from Roseland High School and married Louise Mangers on August 26, 1937 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on March 1, 1994. He was the supervisor of Adams County Weed Control and raised cattle. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church

Mr. Parr was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise; three brothers and six sisters.
