Alice Consbruck

Hastings resident, Alice M. Consbruck, 86, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Homestead.

Rosary will be Friday, June 8, 2012; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 9, 2012; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be at Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 7, 2012; 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Friday, June 8, 2012; 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. at the funeral home. Viewing will also be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Alice was born April 27, 1926 in Lawrence, Nebraska to Frank & Annastasia (Cecava) Sykora. She attended country school in Lawrence. Alice married Donald Consbruck on February 13, 1947 in Deweese, Nebraska; he preceded her in death on July 30, 1984. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Alice was a lifetime member and past President of the American Legion Auxiliary in Juniata.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Consbruck; son, Gerald Consbruck; three brothers, Leo Sykora, George Sykora, and Joe Sykora; and one sister, Lillian Levesque.
