Hastings resident, Alice M. Hogan, 78, of 1218 Hewett, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at her home.
Services will be Monday, October 17, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. William Nottage-Tacey officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mrs. Hogan was born March 19, 1927 in Fremont, Nebraska to Harla & Ruth (Hopewell) Williams. She attended schools in Fremont, Nebraska, Nampa, Idaho and graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School, Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska in 1944. She was employed as a secretary in Omaha, Nebraska for three years prior to her marriage to Howard B. Hogan on August 24, 1947 in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. She moved to Hastings in January 1951 and had two sons, Stephen D. Hogan of Aurora, Colorado and Michael W. Hogan of Hastings, Nebraska. She was active in all school activities, Cub Scout leader, PEO Chapter GK, bloodmobile work, church and women's groups at the First Presbyterian Church in Hastings and in her bridge clubs.
Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her parents.
