Aliyana Peterson

Aliyana J. Peterson, infant daughter of Jessica Torres and Andrew Peterson of Hastings, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Children's Hospital of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado.

Services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015; 10:30 A.M. at North Shore Assembly of God, Hastings with Pastor Chris Johnson and Father Julius Tvrdy officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2015; 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., with family present at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Aliyana was born on August 12, 2013 in Hastings, Nebraska to the proud parents of Jessica Torres and Andrew Peterson and was baptized Catholic. Aliyana was a fun loving child with a personality that showed her spunk. She had a heart of gold and loved being surrounded by her loved ones. Her smile would brighten up any room she entered. She loved having "daddy/daughter" dates to McDonalds to have her favorite french fries and chicken nuggets. She would let mommy paint her toenails every now and then. She enjoyed spending time with mommy whether it was at home or outdoors. Aliyana also enjoyed going to sporting events to support her uncles. Her favorite things to do in the mornings were to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, and to eat cereal off the floor! She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Aliyana was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Don Schick.
