Hastings resident, Alma Emma Juggert, 91, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at College View Assisted Living & Memory Support, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Friday, April 13, 2012; 10:00 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Robert Smith officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2012; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour, c/o Margie Faber, 510 Lane B, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.
Alma was born November 8, 1920 in Heartwell, Nebraska to Chas & Mary (Lange) Hahlweg. She graduated from Kenesaw High School. Alma moved to Hastings in 1939 and married Raymond Juggert in 1940; he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a sales clerk for J.M. McDonald for 36 ½ years, and retired in 1982. Alma was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Tabitha Society; she loved to bowl.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Juggert; two infant sons; three brothers, Arthur Hahlweg, Edward Hahlweg, and Walter Hahlweg; and four sisters, Norma Thomas, Erma Bruntz, Wilma Buxton, and Marie Schutte.
