Hastings resident, Alma Marie Woodward, 89, of Perkins Pavilion, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Perkins Pavilion.
Services will be Thursday, March 20, 2003; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Harold D. Stromer and Pastor Sacia Vik officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.
Alma Marie Woodward was born May 7, 1913 in Ayr, Nebraska to Henry W. & Fannie (Jensen) Gartner. On October 5, 1935, she married Arlo S. Woodward and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2002. They farmed with his father for several years before founding Woodward's Disposal Company in 1933. She was a homemaker and the bookkeeper at Woodward's Disposal Company until her retirement. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a past member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Alma Marie Woodward was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arlo, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
