Alvin A. Hinrichs, 83, of Glenvil, Nebraska died Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Saturday, July 30, 2005; 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil, Nebraska with Pastor John Lee Ross officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska.
Alvin A. Hinrichs was born May 28, 1922 in Clay County, Nebraska to Reemt & Lena (Rothfuss) Hinrichs. He married Opal Fry on February 15, 1942 in Glenvil, Nebraska. He was a farmer and retired in 1984. He served in the United States Army from January of 1944 to April of 1946. He was a lifelong resident of Clay County and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the church council. He was a past member of the Glenvil Cemetery Board, Glenvil Bank Board and Glenvil Volunteer Fire Department.
Alvin A. Hinrichs was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
