Amy Krueger

Hastings resident Amy L. Krueger, 63, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Memorial Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover. There will be no viewing or visitation as Amy was cremated.

Amy was born December 5, 1955, in Central City, NE to Wayne & Margaret (Greek) Nielsen. She graduated from Central City High School and attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Amy married Tom Krueger on May 8, 1982 in Valentine, NE. They moved to Hastings from Fremont in 1986.

Amy worked in sales at Jacobi’s Carpet One and was a member of First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She was an avid nature lover who enjoyed camping, feeding birds and squirrels. Amy was always up for an adventure. She was very passionate about rescuing dogs.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Chris Nielsen.
