Anita Lindner

Hastings resident, Anita L. Lindner, 66, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Nebraska Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, July 7, 2016; 6:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel with Deacon Samuel Beardslee officiating. Memorial Mass will be Saturday, July 9, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Anita was born September 26, 1949 in Kearney, Nebraska to Joseph V. & Josephine C. (Rosales) Huerta. She graduated from Kearney High School in 1968. Anita married Rick L. Lindner on August 10, 1974 at St. James Catholic Church, Kearney, Nebraska.

She was a homemaker and hair stylist. Anita enjoyed sewing, quilting, and embroidering. She loved watching Disney movies with her grandchildren, and would take care of them anytime for any reason.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rosalie Huerta.
