Anita Potts

August 22, 1915 — December 2, 1934

Hastings resident, Anita Potts, 88, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday, April 5, 2004; 11:00 A.M. at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Hirsch officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Mrs. Potts was born August 22, 1915 in Adams County, near Blue Hill, Nebraska to Edward Henry Walter, Jr & Anna Louise Sommerfeld Meyer. She attended Trinity Lutheran School and Blue Hill High School, both in Blue Hill, Nebraska. She married Gerald Ernest Potts on December 2, 1934 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1991. They farmed in the Blue Hill area before moving to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Potts was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald E. Potts, one brother, Herbert Meyer and one sister, Delores Meyer.

Memorial may be given to Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church

VISITATION: Sat. 4-3-04; 5pm-9pm
Sun. 4-4-04; 1pm-9pm
Mon. 4-5-04; 1 hr. prior to service at the church.
