Ann Roelfs

Former Hastings resident, Ann (Morrissey) Roelfs, 92, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Brighton Gardens Nursing Home, Omaha, Nebraska.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 13, 2014; 2:00 P.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Ann was born November 7, 1921 in Portsmouth, Iowa to Stephen & Christina (Foxhoven) LeFeber. She married Walter Morrissey, Sr.; he preceded her in death in 1977 and Ervin Roelfs; he preceded her in death in 2003. Ann was the owner of Hastings Advertising for many years before retiring. She was a past member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and was very active in the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce in numerous capacities.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Walter Morrissey, Sr. and Ervin Roelfs; two brothers; and four sisters.
