Ann Theisen

Former Hastings resident, Ann B. Weber Theisen, 103, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, December 28, 2006; 10:00 A.M. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Christopher Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2006; 1PM-9PM at Butler-Volland Funeral Home & Thursday, December 28, 2006, 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials to St. Cecilia's Catholic Church or Mary Lanning Hospice.

Mrs. Theisen was born March 26, 1903 in Adams County, south of Juniata, Nebraska to Joseph & Carrie (Beiriger) Weber. She married Alvin P. Theisen on April 26, 1921 in Assumption, Nebraska and he preceded her in death in September 1981. She was a homemaker and a very accomplished seamstress and worked from her home making many brides dresses. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society & Legion of Mary.

Mrs. Theisen was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Glen Theisen, an infant sister, three brothers and six sisters.
