Anna Hoefer

March 15, 1920 — January 17, 2005

Hastings resident, Anna Evelyn 'Evie' Hoefer, 84, of 11135 W. Lochland Rd., died Monday, January 17, 2005 at the Nebraska Heart Institute Heart Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, January 21, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Les Larson & Rev. Neil Vik officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery.

Mrs. Hoefer was born March 15, 1920 in Adams County, near Juniata, Nebraska to Adolph J. & Mary (Toben) Uden. She attended Rising Star District 29 and Christ Lutheran Parochial schools in Adams County, Nebraska. She lived in Salem, Oregon, Denver, Colorado and Ogden, Utah before moving to Hastings, Nebraska. On May 1, 1954, she married Elmer C. Hoefer and he preceded her in death on July 20, 1999. They were farmers in Adams County. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Hoefer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elmer C. Hoefer, one sister, Helena Hendricks and two brothers, Albert Uden and Elvin 'Fritz' Uden.

Memorial may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church

VISITATION: Wed. 1-19-05; 2pm-9pm
Thur. 1-20-05; 9am-9pm
Fri. 1-21-05; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
