Anna Knepp, 91, of Perkins Pavilion, died Monday, March 22, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion.
Services will be Thursday, March 25, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Ralph Ford officiating. Burial will be Thursday, March 25, 2004; 3:00 P.M. at Alma Cemetery, Alma, Nebraska with her grandson Rev. David Hoesch officiating.
Mrs. Knepp was born July 15, 1912 in Glenvil, Nebraska, to Fred & Lizzie (Krull) Freitag. She graduated from Mascot High School, Mascot, Nebraska in 1930. On June 1, 1935, she married Guy S. Knepp in Holdrege, Nebraska and he preceded her in death in 1975. They farmed in the Carter Area northwest of Orleans, Nebraska and then moved to Huntley, Nebraska where she was a cook at the Huntley Public School for 14 years. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1981. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska and a past member of the Methodist Woman's Group. She was a past member of and very active in the Methodist Church, Huntley, Nebraska.
Mrs. Knepp was preceded in death by her parents, husband Guy, two daughters, Roberta Knepp & Donna Knepp, a step-daughter Viola Klinkman, 3 sons-in-law Walter Hoesch, Ivan Klinkman, LeRoy Menke, and a grandson Mitchel Menke.
