Annette Vap

Hastings resident, Annette L. Vap, 85, died, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, 2010; 1P.M. - 9P.M. at the funeral home, and Wednesday, March 31, 2010 one hour prior to the service at the church.

Annette L. Vap was born September 11, 1924 in Franklin County, Nebraska to Lammert & Annie (Saathoff) Frerichs. She married George K. Vap on March 13, 1944 and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2007. She moved to Hastings in 1946 and was a homemaker and worked for Dutton - Lainson Company. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Annette L. Vap was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George K. Vap, grandson, Travis Vap, brother, John Frerichs and sister, Grace Saathoff.
