Arleen Janssen

Hastings resident, Arleen (Hubl) Janssen, 86, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society - Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska, with family by her side.

Rosary will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014; 9:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014; 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to mass at the church. Memorials may be given to the family.

Arleen was born December 26, 1927 in Lawrence, Nebraska to Henry & Christina (Hanzlicek) Reiman. She married Frank Hubl on October 20, 1949 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1990. Arleen married Royaland Janssen in 1996 and he also preceded her in death. Arleen was previously employed as a cook and dietitian at Good Samaritan Village. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and Eagles Auxiliary. Arleen enjoyed time to relax, polka music, dancing, animals, crocheting, and had a green thumb for African Violets.

Arleen (Hubl) Janssen was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Frank Hubl and Royaland Janssen, sister; Lucille Krebsbach and an infant son.
