Arlene Jones

Hastings resident, Arlene G. (Faber) Jones, 82, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, December 10, 2015; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 11, 2015; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to family's choice. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, December 10, 2015; 10:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Arlene was born July 25, 1933 to John & Edith (Mangers) Faber in Roseland, Nebraska. She later moved to Hastings and graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School in 1951. After graduation, she went to work at Hide Printing Company which was later sold to Vaughans Printers where she worked until her retirement in 1997. She married John R. Jones on November 19, 1955 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Altar Society. She loved her family and her extended family very much. She lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R. Jones; three brothers, Donald, Paul and Robert Faber; and four sisters, Elaine, Suzanne, Maxine and twin sister Marlene.
