Arminta Miller

Hastings resident, Arminta E. "Mint" Miller, 89, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, June 16, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, Hastings with Pastor Greg Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the Arminta "Mint" Miller Memorial Fund. Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Mint was born April 14, 1928, to Fred and Opal (Sollars) Wampler near Amazonia, Missouri. She attended a little country school and graduated from Savannah High School in Savannah, Missouri where she played volleyball and played a baritone in the band. Mint married and gave birth to four Munger children: Mark, Sarah, Scott, and Mary. Mint and Walt were married in 1967 had a son: Todd L. Miller. She was a lifelong Methodist, Stephen's Minister and served with women's groups of First United Methodist Church.

Mint was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gayle; daughter, Mary; and daughter-in-law, Holly (Pfeiffer) Munger.
