Hastings resident, Ashley J. Kulwicki, 17, of 810 Glenwood Avenue, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital as a result of an automobile accident.
Rosary will be Monday, March 30, 2009; 6:30 P.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009; 2:30 P.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, March 30, 2009; 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home & 1 hr. prior to rosary at the church & Tuesday, March 31, 2009; 9:00 A.M. - Noon at Butler-Volland Funeral Home. A memorial will be established.
Ashley was born August 18, 1991 in Hastings, Nebraska to Russ & Becki (Gerloff) Kulwicki. She was a junior at Hastings High School and competed in 4-H Shooting Sports and was a member of Youth Leadership Academy. She had a love for art and was very talented artistically. She currently had art work on display at the Hastings Art Show. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a very hard worker and took great pride in everything she did. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and worked at Hastings Family Chiropractic & Runza.
