Barbara Dillin

Hastings resident, Barbara G. Dillin, 73, of 619 N. Briggs, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday, November 21, 2008; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm, Thursday November 20, 9:00 am-9:00 pm, and Friday 1 hr prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to family's choice.

Mrs. Dillin was born January 3, 1935 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Willard C. & Dorothy A. (Shouse) Anderson. She graduated from Hastings High School and from Kearney State College, Kearney, Nebraska. On May 28, 1955, she married Wayne A. Dillin and he preceded her in death in March of 1994. She was a retired secretary of Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and sports fan.

Mrs. Dillin was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wayne.
