Beatrice Jurgensmeier

Hastings resident, Beatrice "Bea" M. Jurgensmeier, 99, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, March 25, 2010; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, and Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 26, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Michael Houlihan, Father Mel Rempe, Father Gilbert Ostdiek O.F.M., and Father John Ostdiek O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24, 2010; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.; Thursday, March 25, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Beatrice was born December 30, 1910 in Lawrence, Nebraska to Frank & Mary (Schroer) Pohlmeier. In 1929, she married Norbert Rempe. He preceded her in death in 1939. On November 22, 1943, she married Clarence E. Jurgensmeier in Lawrence, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1999. She was a homemaker and in 1981, they moved from Lawrence, Nebraska to Hastings. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the St. Michael's Catholic Church Altar Society.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Norbert Rempe and Clarence E. Jurgensmeier; two brothers; one sister; and two grandsons, Mick Schneider and Greg Rempe.
