Hastings resident, Bernadine Elizabeth Harms, 89, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Mary Lanning HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Monday, August 6, 2012; 7:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012; 10:30 A.M. at Assumption Catholic Church, Assumption, Nebraska with Father Thomas S. Brouillette officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Assumption, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Assumption Catholic Church or St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Bernadine was born October 23, 1922 in Juniata, Nebraska to Anthony N. & Frances (Hemberger) Consbruck. She attended school through the eighth grade and worked as a personal service representative for the Hastings Regional Center. She moved to Hastings in 1986 from Roseland and was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Crosier Lay Apostles at Crosier Monastery.

Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three children, Robert L. Harms, Carol Parr, and Michael Harms.
