Bernice Jarolimek

Hastings resident, Bernice L. Jarolimek, 78, of 402 Circle D., Good Samaritan Village, died Saturday, July 19, 2003; at her home.

Rosary service will be Tuesday, July 22, 2003; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 23, 2003; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska with Father Thomas Au officiating.

Bernice L. Jarolimek was born September 3, 1924 in Juniata, Nebraska to Aleck & Susan (Heuertz) Parr. She married Donald Jarolimek on April 7, 1947 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and he preceded her in death in July of 1985. She worked at Lincoln Telephone & Telegram Company and for Mode O'Dey before attending South East Community College where she earned her Secretarial Science Degree in 1975. She then worked at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska and Veterans Administration in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, Perpetual Adoration at St. Cecilia's, Legion of Mary and a past foster grandparent.

Bernice L. Jarolimek was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
