Former Juniata resident, Bertha L. Knapp, 91, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Fort Collins Good Samaritan Village.
Funeral Services are 2 p.m. MST Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Fort Collins Good Samaritan Village Chapel. Visitation is 5-8p.m. MST Tuesday at Allnutt Drake Road Chapel. A second funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. CST, Friday, September 28, 2007, at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Juniata. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery also in rural Juniata. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Larimer County and Fort Collins Good Samaritan Village in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Bertha was born in Juniata, Nebraska on March 15, 1916 to Adolph and Mary (Toben) Uden. In December of 1942, Bertha married Robert L. Knapp. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother to six children and very devoted to her family. She moved from Ogden, Utah, to Fort Collins in 1954, where she worked at the Good Samaritan Village for 16 years doing laundry. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful seamstress and also loved her little dog.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert in 1962; her son, Charles Knapp; two brothers; and two sisters.
