Beth Wing

Former area resident, Beth A. Wing, 78, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at BryanLGH Medical Center East, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, March 27, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, Hastings, Nebraska, with Pastor Larry Harvey officiating. Burial will be Thursday, March 27, 2008; 2:00 P.M. in Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2008; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Hastings.

Mrs. Wing was born May 12, 1929 in Palisade, Nebraska to Omar E. & Ruth A. (Denny) Nutzman. She graduated from McCook High School and attended McCook Junior College, McCook, Nebraska. On May 23, 1948, she married Robert Wing in Bertrand, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1992. She moved from Oxford, Nebraska to Hastings in 1967 and to Lincoln in 2005. She was a self employed bookkeeper and a member of First Baptist Church, Hastings, Nebraska, where she was baptized on July 8, 1984.

Mrs. Wing was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Paul Wing in 1959.
