Betty Black

Hastings resident, Betty L. Black, 91, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Robert S. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014; 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Betty was born May 28, 1923 in Trumbull, Nebraska to M.M. & Bessie (Arnold) Black. She attended Trumbull School and moved to Giltner with her parents until she moved to Hastings in 1975. She enjoyed embroidery work, reading, and various crafts.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and five sisters.
