Betty Hasse

Betty Lou Haase, 67, of The Villa, 931 East 'F' St., died Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday, August 22, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl H. Rehwaldt & Rev. Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.

Betty Lou Haase was born October 12, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Norman & Esther (Lundquist) Engblom. She graduated from high school and attended Immanuel Lutheran College of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska for 2 years. In October of 1960, she married Bob Haase in Denver, Colorado and was divorced in May of 1999. She moved from Denver, Colorado to Hastings, Nebraska in 1969. She was Director of Nursing at the State Hospital and worked for the Department of Corrections before retiring in 1999. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a past member of American Nurses Association.

Betty Lou Haase was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Step Daughter & Son-in-law: Laura Haase-Pratt & Bob Pratt - Arvada, CO

Half Sister: Esther Lee Hetterich - Bella Vista, AR
