Hastings resident, Betty J. Sell, 82, of Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.
Services will be Friday, November 2, 2007; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Paul Knott officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2007; 3PM-9PM and Friday, November 2, 2007; 9AM until service time. Memorials may be given to the family.
Mrs. Sell was born December 12, 1924 in Hastings, Nebraska to Harvey E. & Katherine (Kregger) McCoy. She married Jacob Adler in Smith Center, Kansas on March 15, 1941 and they later divorced and he preceded her in death in 1983. On December 12, 1969, she married Harold D. 'Whitey' Sell in Hastings and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1995. She was a homemaker and worked at the Clarke Hotel for many years. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Mrs. Sell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; a son, Jim Adler, grandson, Danny Ray Lewis, six brothers and two sisters.
