Beulah Stubbe

Hastings resident, Beulah M. Stubbe, 84, of Perkins Pavilion, died Monday, March 12, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Thursday, March 15, 2007; 9:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Private family burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials to Mary Lanning Hospice, First St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Perkins Pavilion. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2007; 1pm - 9pm & Thursday, March 15, 2007; 9am until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stubbe was born March 17, 1922 in Blue Hill, Nebraska to Harm & Marie (Robare) Schmidt. She graduated from Blue Hill High School and married Gerhard F. Stubbe on May 31, 1940 in Hastings, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1996. She was a bookkeeper for Sears and was also in sales at J.M. McDonalds, Woolworths & Ag Tronics. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a past president of Ladies Aid and also a Brownie & Girl Scout Leader. She was a life long area resident. She loved to work outside and be at the Harlan County Reservoir every weekend.

Mrs. Stubbe was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, Florence, Cloetta & Louise and 2 brothers, Archie & Kenneth.
