Bevan Gill

Hastings resident, Bevan M. Gill, 87, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Princess Anne Memorial Cemetery, Virginia Beach, Virginia. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Good Samaritan Village Library or Heartland Pet Connection.

Bevan was born May 27, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri to John A. & Constance S. (Kronmiller) Marshall. She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore, Maryland. On June 14, 1941 she married John J. Gill in Baltimore, Maryland. He preceded her in death in 1972. In 1977 she moved from Baltimore to Hastings where she worked as a sales clerk at Sherry's Hallmark and Prairie Books. She also volunteered at Good Samaritan Village.

Bevan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John J. Gill; and infant daughter, Nancy Ellen Gill.
