Hastings resident Beverly Jean Taylor, 75, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings.
Memorial Services are 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Matt Sass officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family requests attendants wear casual attire to the memorial service. Memorials may be given to the Beverly Taylor Memorial Fund. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Beverly was born October 5, 1942 to Raymond & Hilda (Krug) Lyon in Hastings, Nebraska. Beverly graduated from Blue Hill High School. After graduating, Beverly worked for Hastings Public Schools for 31 years until she retired. Beverly married Norman Taylor on April 29, 1971.
Beverly enjoyed traveling to Sturgis and the Black Hills. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking. She was a hard worker and was always on the go. Beverly enjoyed taking care of her grand-dogs, Koby & Tora. They were her buddies.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia Daugherty; and son-in-law, Gary Kent.
