Bill Bottolfson

Hastings resident, Bill E. Bottolfson, 81, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Keith Brandt officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Hastings Veterans Organizations. Private family burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2016; 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Bill was born July 2, 1934 to William Bottolfson & Katherine (Anderson) Larson. Bill graduated from Hastings High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and finished his years of service with the Army Reserves. He married Geraldine McEwen and to this union, four children were born. They later divorced. Bill married Deborah Brandt and to this union, 2 children were born. They later divorced. Bill was a supervisor at Hastings Irrigation for many years. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Leonard Larson.
