Bobby J. Eckhardt

Juniata resident Bobby J. Eckhardt, 57, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his home.   

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata with Pastor Darren Olson officiating. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery, rural Juniata. A book signing will be 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with family present 2-4 p.m. Friday, June 9, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Bobby was born November 15, 1965, in Hastings, NE to Larry and Karen (Riese) Eckhardt. He graduated in 1985 from Roseland High School. Bobby and Rose Kothe were united in November 1985. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Bobby enjoyed playing and watching sports.

Bobby was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Heather Jo Kothe-Eckhardt; grandparents, Pearl & Dorothy Eckhardt and LaVern & Lorraine Riese; in-laws, Karl & Louise Kothe; sister-in-law, Donna Kothe; and uncle, Dennis Riese.
