Bub was born August 13, 1930, in Roseland, NE to Arnold and Alvina (Schiefelbein) Beiriger. She graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic High School in 1948. Bub married James E. Kindig, Jr. on September 29, 1953, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on December 23, 1983.

Bub worked as an office manager for General Glass in Hastings. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and St. Michael’s Choir and was a dedicated volunteer.

Bub was a devout Catholic who leaves behind a powerful, yet simple legacy of faith and family. Her life was a testimony that faith strengthens family bonds. Whether attending the many sporting events of her children and grandchildren, to enjoying playing cards with family and friends, or being the person who could instantly harmonize any song, Bub had a way of making everyone and every occasion feel special. Her kindness and superpower of being a great listener will be missed.

Bub was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Kindig, Jr.; twin brother, Bernie Beiriger and sister-in-law, Jeanie; sister, Kathleen Kealy and brother-in-law, John Kealy; and sister-in-law, Mary Beiriger.

Survivors include children, Steve (Becky) Kindig - Hastings, NE, Colleen Lecher - Davey, NE, Tom (Erin) Kindig - Hastings, NE, Nancy (Danny) Malone - Palestine, TX, and Barbara (Tom) Rotter - Sanger, TX; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Alvin Beiriger - Hastings, NE; and numerous nieces & nephews.

A debt of gratitude to the Homestead Assisted Living, Hastings, and dear friends who graciously aided Bub in her earthly journey.
