Bonnie Leonhardt

Hastings resident, Bonnie J. Leonhardt, 81, of 1909 W. 10th, Hastings, Nebraska, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, January 7, 2006; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. William Deahl Jr. officiating. Burial at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Leonhardt was born February 1, 1924 in Council Bluffs, IA to Earl & Margie (Beaver) Ives. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, IA. On October 30, 1942 she married Russ Leonhardt in Rockport, MO. They moved to Hastings in 1963. She worked at The Gift House and retired from Younkers both in Hastings. She attended First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star and Faculty Wives of Hastings Public Schools.

Mrs. Leonhardt was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers
