Bonnie Yurk

Former Hastings resident Bonnie Mae Yurk, 86, departed this life on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Tekamah Care and Rehabilitation Center, Tekamah, NE.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Rev. Jeff Erlemeier officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the Bonnie Yurk Memorial Fund. Family will be greeting relatives and friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Bonnie Mae Yurk, the daughter of Louis and Helene (Larsen) Nauenburg, was born January 12, 1932, in Eddyville, NE. Bonnie was a homemaker who dearly loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She would never allow anything to diminish her love for her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents, Louis and Helene Nauenburg; and brothers, Warren and Lowell.
