Hastings resident Booker T. Scriven Jr., 71, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at his home.
There will be no services or burial. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
Booker was born September 29, 1953, in Wilson, NC to Booker T. Sr. and Winnie (Sharpe) Scriven. He graduated from Wilson High School and attended Central Community College. Booker served in the U.S. Air Force from October 22, 1971 to October 21, 1977. He married Judith A. Cole on August 25, 1978, in Hastings, NE. Booker worked for Hastings Industries, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed watching football and NASCAR and working on cars.
Booker was preceded in death by his parents, Booker T. Scriven Sr. and Winnie Pender; daughter, Michelle Towns; and brother, Gregory Scriven.
