Brett Witt

Brett C. Witt, 25, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, died Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Detroit, Michigan.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006; 11:00 A. M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Lane Hinton officiating. Private family burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Brett C. Witt was born December 21, 1980 in Iowa City, Iowa to Richard & Paula (Puhl) Witt. He attended Hastings public schools and graduated from Hastings High School in 1999. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and attended Central Community College after high school. He was a former member of the Hastings Church of Christ and the Hastings Soccer Club. He worked in automobile marketing and traveled extensively with his job. He was employed by Impatto Custom Marketing of Detroit at his death. He was an avid fan of auto racing and professional sports.

Brett C. Witt was preceded in death by grandparents Frank & Ina Mae Puhl of Omaha.

Memorial may be given to Nebraska Youth Camp of Kearney, Nebraska & Valley Hope Treatment Center of O'Neill, Nebraska.
