Bruce Beach

Hastings resident, Bruce Allen Beach, 51, of 813 North 2nd Avenue, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Bruce Allen Beach was born October 29, 1956 in Corona, California to Leland & Nancy (Swanson) Beach. He graduated from Hastings High School in the summer of 1975. Soon after graduation, he joined the United States Navy, taking his basic training at Great Lakes, Illinois. During his military years, he was stationed in Connecticut, South Dakota, California and Virginia. After 12 years in the Navy and attaining the rank of Senior Chief, he was discharged to civilian life.
