Bruce Edwards

Bruce W. Edwards, 72, of 729 N. Lincoln #6, died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at his home.

Services will be Tuesday, September 30, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Tim Semotan officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Bruce W. Edwards was born September 8, 1931 in Hastings, Nebraska to Clyde E. & Pansy (Peoples). He graduated from Hastings High School in 1950 and attended Hastings College from 1950-1955. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War from 1952 to1954. He married Bernice Baer and they later divorced. He was owner/operator of Edwards Oil, Blue Diamond Concrete Company and also farmed. He was a member of the Elks Club, Southern Hills Golf Club, American Legion, Canadian Football League-1956 and Hastings College Alumni Association.

Bruce W. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and 3 sisters.
