Bruce Hansen

Hastings resident, Bruce L. Hansen, 57, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his home.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, September 21, 2013; 2:00 P.M. at Clay Center Christian Church, 31371 Woodland Road, Clay Center, Nebraska with Pastor Michael York of Council Bluffs, Iowa officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Bruce was born October 4, 1955 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Raymond P. & Myrtle J. (Schlensig) Hansen. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1974 he spent the next year at the Midwestern School of Evangelism in Ottumwa, Iowa. Bruce moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1987 and attended and graduated from Central Community College with an Associates Degree and went on to attend the University of Nebraska Kearney in pursuit of a computer programming degree. He worked as a security guard and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Claudia Minard and Linda Minard.
