Carl Drake Jr

Juniata resident, Carl Dean Drake, 45, of 907 Brass Ave., Juniata, NE, died Friday, August 1, 2008 at his home.

Services will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Rob Thorton officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 5, 2008; Noon-9:00 P.M. family present 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mr. Drake was born December 9, 1962 to Carl Dean Sr. & Marjorie (Janssen) Drake in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Adams Central and worked at the Juniata Lounge. Due to health reasons he was no longer able to work. He enjoyed playing bingo, pool, watching wrestling, and was a Husker fan.

Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his grandparents and 2 uncles.
