Carl Jackson, Jr

Blue Hill resident, Carl Jackson, Jr., 82, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, October 20, 2017; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Dan Albers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Carl was born May 6, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Carl Sr. & Martha (Murphy) Jackson. He married Ruby Dean and she preceded him in death in 1997. Carl married Laura (Boyd) Archer on June 6, 1997 at Juniata United Methodist Church in Juniata, Nebraska. Carl was a clock repairman where he owned his own business and was known as the "Clock Man."

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ruby Jackson; and son, Tim Jackson.
