Carol Ewing

Former Hastings resident, Carol Lee Ewing, 63, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at BryanLGH West, Lincoln, Nebraska

Memorial service will be Thursday, July 26, 2007; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Dan Prickett officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Book signing will be Wednesday, July 25, 2007; 1 P.M. - 9 P.M. & Thursday, July 26, 2007; 9 A.M. until service time. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Ms. Ewing was born August 29, 1943 in Portage LaPrairie Manitoba, Canada to Wilbur & Cora (Haight) Bonar. She graduated from McCook High School, McCook, Nebraska in 1961 and earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Lincoln School of Commerce, now Hamilton College. She lived in McCook, then Hastings and now resided in Lincoln. She was a travel agent in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was an avid reader & loved to play bridge, crossword puzzles and sudoku.

Ms. Ewing was preceded in death by her parents, one niece and a sister, Gail Howard.
