Carolina Johnson

Former Hastings resident, Carolina Johnson, 93, of Campbell, Nebraska, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Grandview Manor in Campbell.

Services will be Friday, June 20, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, west of Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2008; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. & Friday, June 20, 2008; 8:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings or St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil.

Mrs. Johnson was born February 7, 1915 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Henry & Anna (Kopke) Stromer. She married Carl E. Johnson on August 27, 1935 and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings. She was a lifelong resident of Clay and Adams counties.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl, five brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.
